Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to your information when you use letthecrayonmove.com, the website of Let the Crayon Move, an illustrated nature encyclopedia to colour, with audio. The site is run by Ana Fuenmayor, an independent author and publisher (“we”, “us”).
The short version
- This is a quiet site. It has no advertising, no analytics, no tracking and no cookies on this site.
- There are no accounts. The only form is an optional mailing list, described below.
- We do not collect personal information from you simply because you visit or listen.
When you visit the site
Our pages and audio are delivered by Cloudflare, a web hosting and security service. As with every website, the servers that deliver a page handle technical information such as your IP address, the type of browser you use and the page you asked for. Cloudflare does this to deliver the page and to protect the site from abuse. We do not use it to identify you and we do not build profiles of visitors. Cloudflare’s own privacy policy applies to its work: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
The audio stories open from the QR marks in the book or PDF, play in your browser, and need no app and no account.
Cookies
We do not set any cookies and we do not use any tracking technologies on this site. The mailing-list page is hosted by Kit, outside this site, and Kit’s own practices apply to it.
The mailing list
You can leave your email address on our mailing list so that we can tell you when the book is ready to buy, and about new albums and editions as they are published. This is optional. You do not need it to visit the site or to listen to the audio stories.
The form is hosted by Kit (Kit, Inc.), an email service provider based in the United States. When you press the button on our site you are taken to a page that belongs to Kit. We use Kit to send the confirmation email and to store your email address on our behalf. Kit’s own privacy policy, which describes how Kit handles its customers’ data, is at kit.com/privacy.
- What we collect: your email address and the details Kit records when you sign up, such as the date and time.
- Why: only to send you the confirmation email, to tell you when the book is published and to tell you about new albums and editions. We do not send you anything else, and we never sell your address or share it for marketing. If you joined the list before 12 October 2026, we will use your address only to tell you that the book is published, unless you ask to hear more.
- Your permission: we ask you to confirm by email before we add you to the list.
- How long: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
- Leaving: use the unsubscribe link in any email from us, or write to hello@letthecrayonmove.com.
If you write to us
If you email hello@letthecrayonmove.com, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and your message. We use them only to reply and to help you. We keep a message only for as long as we need it to help you, and we never sell it or share it for marketing.
If you buy from us
The printable PDF is sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the seller of record. Lemon Squeezy takes your payment, handles sales tax and delivers your file. It collects the details it needs for that, such as your name, email address, billing country and payment details, under its own privacy policy: lemonsqueezy.com/privacy. We never see your card number. We receive order information, such as your email address, your country and what you bought, so that we can give you support.
The printed book is sold and shipped by Amazon. Amazon handles that purchase under its own privacy notice. We do not receive personal information about the people who buy the book.
Children
This site is written for parents and carers to use with their children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The audio pages need no sign-up and ask for nothing.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, for example under the UK or EU General Data Protection Regulation, you may have the right to ask us what personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict its use or hand it back to you. You may also object to how it is used. To make a request, email hello@letthecrayonmove.com. If you are unhappy with our reply, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Changes to this policy
If we ever add analytics, advertising or anything else that handles personal information in a new way, we will update this page first and change the date at the top.
